Supporting local community food project

We've been supporting local good causes in Wigan with their wish to provide 1,000 food parcels.

Fur Clemt (the local dialect for 'very hungry') is part of the global Real Junk Food movement. The organisation is dedicated to reducing edible wasted food reaching landfill, by collecting it from suppliers and making it available to the community through its cafes, food outlets and food sharing scheme. Their cafes work on a 'made to order' basis with waitress service. Prices are kept to a minimum and are based on the cost of running the project.
