Queen Alexandra Hospital usually has around 700 volunteers who come in to the hospital to help our NHS in a variety of ways.
Many of the volunteers have been shielding, and hundreds of people who are currently on furlough have stepped up and filled the shortfall - a wonderful example of how as a community we are pulling together during the COVID crisis. Caroline coordinates the volunteers and came into store to pick up a donation of snacks and refreshments for them as a thank you for all they are doing. We really are all in this together.
