Over The Wall is based locally and offers a range of free residential activity camps in medically safe environments for children with serious illnesses.
Due to the Covid pandemic these camps can’t be run so the charity are running virtual camps which they are calling Camp In The Cloud and sending out packs to each child with everything they need. I was asked to provide colouring pens for the arts and craft sessions they’re running on Zoom and also hand gel for these medically vulnerable children. Paul from the charity came in to pick up the donation and said the virtual camps were such a success and they were planning to run them alongside the regular camps next year as it enables children who are just too poorly to attend a residential the opportunity to still have a camp experience.
