Laptops for schools

Here's Robin Marsden, assistant headteacher at Wheatley Park School, with one of t the Dell laptops and tech bundles the school received as part of our initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion.

Although children are now back in the classroom, there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. Head teacher Tim said: “Thank you so much for nominating us and to Asda and the Asda Foundation for awarding us technology which will make a real positive difference to our most disadvantaged students.”
