Our store manager Shaun and I were delighted to hand over 10 new Dell laptops and tech bundles to Alexandra CP School.
The school received the computers as part of our initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion. Although children have now returned to the classrooms there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. Amy, a teacher, at the school said everyone at the school was delighted with the laptops and thanked both Asda Wrexham and Asda Foundation for our support.
