Yvonne Johns from our Tonypandy store has a special reason to be excited about the Royal Wedding – her son James Hutchinson will be part of the guard of honour outside St George's Chapel in Windsor.

James is a bomb disposal diver in the Royal Navy – and Yvonne will be glued to her TV on Saturday looking out for him.

Yvonne, who has worked on checkouts at the store for four years, said: "It's so exciting! Last week, James told me that Prince Harry has requested the specialist Royal Navy divers to form a guard of honour outside the church.

"He's really looking forward to it. They've all spent this week practising their marching and etiquette.

"I've booked the day off so I can watch it on the telly.

"He won't know exactly where he'll be standing until the day itself. All he knows is it will be somewhere outside the church, but he is going to text me when he knows."

James, who's 32 and has been in the Navy for 11 years, is based in Portsmouth. As well as being a bomb disposal diver, he's also a diving instructor. He's married to Sian, and the couple have two children – four-year-old Isla and Cohen, who's one.

The store's community champion Karen Thomas said: "It's lovely for the store to have this link to the Royal wedding and we're all very excited for Yvonne.

"She's going to text us when she spots James so we can keep an eye out for him on the coverage. She's very proud of him."
