Our brilliant colleague Derek Plumridge has been getting customers at our Langley Mill store in Nottingham into the Christmas spirit by singing festive songs.
Derek, who works on the pizza, fish and rotisserie counters, sets up a keyboard and speakers in the store's foyer to perform his versions of classic seasonal hits from the last 50 years.
Derek, who's worked at the store for seven years, said: "I've done this every December since I've worked here, normally starting from mid December and going all the way through to Christmas.
"I do a bit of singing and performing in my own time, so I thought I'd bring a bit of this to the store.
"I always get a good reaction from customers – lots of them say it's not Christmas until they've seen me performing!"
The store's deputy manager Tim Steans said: "The customers absolutely love it – you just see a crowd of people bopping and singing along. Derek is our store's own superstar."
