Home Shopping driver Ben shares stunning photos of his delivery route

One of our Home Shopping section leaders, Ben, loves taking scenic photos of local landmarks while he's out and about delivering to customers in the Middlesbrough area. The team's delivery routes can include city, coast and moor so every day is a different view. Ben doesn't get on the road as much as he used to in his current role so when he does it's a good excuse for a selfie!

Here he shares some of his recent photos...

"This photo was taken at Redcar seafront near Middlesbrough. It was a couple of minutes drive away from the customer I delivered to. As a Home Shopping section leader I don’t always get the chance to get out in the van. When I do get out on deliveries I love being able to stop in Redcar and enjoy the seafront as I deliver to customers. Stopping for a cheeky lemon top (ice cream in a cone with lemon sorbet on the top – a local delicacy!) I’m always happy if I can get a quick photograph by the sea.

"We also have Roseberry Topping on our doorstep which is a local landmark that everyone has climbed up at least once. I always stop along my route to Great Ayton to take a photo of Roseberry Topping especially when the sun is shining down on it. I do like to take as many pictures of my local area as I can: Teesside is not just steelworks and terraced houses as it is often described.

"Most of our deliveries are in Middlesbrough but we go as far as Redcar and Guisborough in the North York Moors. This photo was taken at Guisborough Woods. There are a handful of holiday cottages there that we sometimes deliver to.

"I've been on home shopping for over five years and I love my job. I love being able to get out in the van and meet our customers."
