Colleagues create special care packages for NHS workers in their local area

Our store colleagues up and down the country have been saying thank you to the wonderful NHS workers at their local hospitals and ambulance stations by putting together care packages and hampers of treats for them to enjoy when they get a break from their hard – and much appreciated – work.

Here's Bev, community champion at our Watford store, handing over boxes of drinks, snacks and toiletries for the crew at the local ambulance station.

Gemma from our Dagenham store shared the photo below on her store's local Facebook page and said: "We had the pleasure of giving local frontline NHS staff some care packages to take a little "me time" with! We hope these help show our appreciation and help you catch a moment for yourselves!"

Hereford Rotary got in touch on Twitter to thank colleagues from their local Asda for providing snacks and toiletries for the nurses, doctors and teams at Hereford Hospital:


Wolverhampton colleagues delivered welfare packs to the hard-working staff at the swabbing site for frontline workers:
