1Founded in 2012, this was originally called the Asda Sustain and Save Exchange. It is an online private community for our suppliers to collaborate and share best practice in sustainability and resource efficiency

Our Commitments

We stated our ambition to be a net-zero business in 2021, establishing a clear roadmap to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions within our own operations by 2040. Building on our progress, we now intend to accelerate our efforts for greater impact. And we’ll keep you informed of our performance, achievements and challenges along the way.

    Farming and Nature
    We’re working with suppliers, farmers and growers to be good stewards of nature—from deforestation, animal welfare and husbandry, to looking after soils, biodiversity and water. We want to make sure that wherever we leave an environmental footprint it’s as light as possible, and our ultimate aim is to have a regenerative impact on nature, with all of our food sustainably sourced.
