Ken Towle

Ken joined in May 2022 as Retail Director and is responsible for providing customer-focused leadership of Asda’s retail operations.

He joined Asda from Nisa, where he was appointed as CEO in 2018 and led on the business’ strategy and long-term plan.

Prior to this he held a number of executive roles in Retail and Wholesale businesses, both in the UK and internationally, including a career that spanned 30 years with Tesco.

Whilst at Tesco he held a variety of roles, including Stores Director, Operations Director for Home Office, CEO for China and Managing Director for Central Europe, Ireland and Turkey as a member of the executive team.

Ken has been a Trustee of Prostate Cancer UK for two years and is an advocate for the charity, which aims to reduce the impact of one of the most common male cancers.

He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three children and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching films, and running to keep fit.
