Helen Connolly

Helen Connolly is a highly experienced retail leader with more than 30 years' experience across the fashion and retail sectors. She joined George as Chief Executive Officer in 2026 from New Look, where she served as CEO, having previously held the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to this, Helen was CEO of Bonmarché.

Helen brings extensive knowledge of the George business, having spent more than 15 years with the brand across two periods earlier in her career. During that time, she held a number of senior leadership roles, including Director of Buying for Womenswear and Lingerie, helping to strengthen George's position as one of the UK's leading clothing brands.

As Chief Executive Officer of George, Helen is responsible for leading one of the UK's largest fashion brands through its next phase of growth, building on its reputation for delivering outstanding quality, style and value for customers.
