Matt has 30 years of experience in the retail sector, including 11 years in a various leadership roles at Morrisons. He led the establishment and scaling of the Morrisons.com online channel, and subsequently had responsibility for Supply Chain, IT and Productivity as Group Chief Information Officer through the Covid pandemic.
Prior to Morrisons, Matt was a Partner at the global consultancy business, Accenture, and served as Best Buy’s International Operations Director.
Matt joined Asda in July 2024 and holds Executive responsibility for Insight & Analytics, Technology, LS11 Media and Online, alongside leading our ongoing divestiture activity with Walmart.
Matt is married to Fiona and lives locally in West Yorkshire. He has two children at university, and two very well-loved spaniels! Matt grew up in South London and is a loyal Crystal Palace FC fan. He also enjoys travelling, the mountains, cycling and golf.
