Fourteen store colleagues celebrate 25 years or more
Colleagues at Asda Brierley Hill are being congratulated on over 420 years of service with the company this month.
The store at Pearson Street has one of the largest numbers of long serving colleagues in the country with 14 colleagues celebrating more than 25 years of service.
Amongst the long serving colleagues is Debbie Purchase, who originally came to work as Asda so that she could pay for a new tumble dryer.
Debbie Purchase said: “I'd just had my son and needed a new tumble dryer. He's now 25 and the tumble dryer still works!
“I can’t believe how quickly the last 25 years have flown by and it’s really nice to see that we’re all one big Asda family and such a big part of the local community.”
Martin Overton, general store manager at Asda Brierley Hill said: “We are proud of all our colleagues at Asda Brierley Hill and we are especially proud of our dedicated group of 14 for all their hard work over the years.
