Traditional English confectionary manufacturer in North Yorkshire, The Serious Sweet company, has secured an additional seasonal listing with national supermarket chain Asda – just in time for Christmas.
The Serious Sweet company’s Gingerbread flavour fudge is expected to fly off the shelves at Asda supermarkets, with the seasonal treats listed at over 400 stores in Yorkshire and across the UK.
Based in the North Yorkshire town of Harrogate, The Serious Sweet company develop their traditional recipes, with simple twists to create fabulous tasting confectionery.
Made traditionally and mostly by hand, the creations are cooled naturally to improve texture and flavour, resulting in fine tasting and moreish quintessentially English confectionery that takes you back to those childhood days.
Together with the Extra Special Cornish Clotted Cream fudge that remains on the shelves of 360 Asda stores nationwide throughout the year, both provide a perfect, inexpensive gift this festive season.

The company employs 30 local people at their Harrogate base, creating more than 800 tonnes of fudge a year.

At Asda, Gingerbread flavour fudge is priced at £1.00 and Extra Special Cornish Clotted Cream fudge is priced at £2.
