Would you Eat Sweet and Savoury Cheese? Asda Launches Controversial Fromage

Wensleydale with Salted Caramel & White Chocolate

Ahead of the festive season, Asda has launched NEW Wensleydale with Salted Caramel & White Chocolate, sure to divide cheeseboards and taste buds across the nation this Christmas.

Following a poll revealing that 56% of Brits are hesitant to mix sweet and savoury in their cheese repertoire, Asda has introduced the perfect sample size to excite taste buds and change perceptions.

Chocolate covered pretzels, Hawaiian Pizza and Chilli Chocolate, the nation is always divided on their taste palate. Asda are here to make sure the delectable debate continues over Christmas.

Asda’s Wensleydale with Salted Caramel & White Chocolate includes a combination of creamy Red Tractor farm assured Wensleydale with sweet white chocolate and flavours of salted caramel, making for a punch of flavour in every mouthful.

James Waters, Asda Product Developer said: “Christmas is always a shining moment for cheese, and this year we wanted to showcase something a little different. Following the success of our Chocolate Orange Cheese last year, it seemed only fitting to take it that step further.

“We hope our customers enjoy our festive cheese this season, and for those currently sour to the idea, hope it turns them a little sweeter!”

Asda’s Wensleydale with Salted Caramel & White Chocolate are available now in stores for £1.00 for 90g.
