The latest figures from the report show;
- The Asda Income Tracker was £12.22 a week higher in September 2019 than a year before
- Family spending power increased by 6.0% in the year to September 2019, slightly slower than the 6.5% annual increase measured in the previous month
- Inflation has held steady in September, remaining at 1.7%. This was largely due to declines in the price of fuel and second hand cars
- Helped by low inflation in August and September, the UK-wide income tracker growth rate increased slightly from an average of 6.0% in Q2 to 6.2% in Q3 2019.
