Asda drops unleaded price down to below 1.20 mark for first time since April

Effective from today, Friday 22nd November, drivers will benefit from filling up at one of Asda’s 322 petrol stations after the supermarket announced they are once again leading a fuel price cut by up to 2ppl on both Unleaded and Diesel, it’s the first time unleaded has gone below the 120p per litre mark since April.

Any driver filling up at an Asda petrol station will pay no more than 119.7ppl on unleaded and 123.7ppl on diesel and with the busy festive period just around the corner Asda’s announcement is an additional weekend boost for customers in the run-up to the festive season.

Asda Senior Fuel Buyer Dave Tyrer said: "With Christmas just around the corner, we’re pleased to be able lower the cost of fuel and pass these savings onto our customers. It’s the first time since April that unleaded fuel has fallen below the 1.20 mark and any driver filling up at an Asda filling station will pay no more for than 119.7ppl on Unleaded and 123.7ppl on diesel."
