Sip into summer: Asda extends gin range by launching three new sweet shop inspired gins

Ready to taste a trip down memory lane? Asda has announced the launch of three brand new Extra Special gins, inspired by traditional sweet shop flavours; Extra Special Strawberry Laces Gin, Extra Special Cola Cube Gin and Extra Special Rhubarb and Custard Gin.

Revel in nostalgia with these vibrant, glittery and tasty new gins. Ideal for serving at summer BBQs or evening soirees, the new gins are set to inject a burst of fun to any cocktail or G&T with the full range of sweet shop flavours available from 22nd June for just £18 each.

Oozing with that unmistakable cola flavour we all know and love, the Extra Special Cola Cube Gin is finished with a magical golden shimmer for extra fun. For those with a sweeter tooth, the Extra Special Strawberry Laces Gin tastes delicious and is also infused with a sprinkle of glitter to make for a sparkly G&T.

A perfect balance of sweet and sour, the Extra Special Rhubarb and Custard Gin delivers flavours of sour rhubarb with sweet custard to make an irresistible tipple. Simply add your favourite mixer and give it a shake to reminisce of summer days eating sticky rhubarb and custard sweets in the sun.

The launch of the new flavours comes after Asda successfully brought the Extra Special Lemon Sherbet Gin, Extra Special Pear Drop Gin and Extra Special Parma Violet Gins to shelves in 2019.

The new gin range will be available in-store and online from 22nd June nationwide for £18 per 70cl bottle.
