Make way for Roddy! Meet Asda’s two feet long Christmas chocolate sponge cake

It’s time for Rudolf to share the limelight with Asda’s adorable addition to its novelty party food range: Roddy the Reindeer Cake, available in stores and online now.

Consisting of moist chocolate sponge cake filled with chocolate frosting and covered in creamy milk chocolate, Roddy also comes complete with Christmas sprinkles and the friendliest (edible!) reindeer smile you ever did see.

What’s more, at a whopping two feet long the jumbo novelty cake serves 24 people, making it the perfect addition to the Christmas party feast this year.

For an alternative to chocolate cake that’s equally as fun, Asda is also launching a wonderfully festive Santa’s Belly Cheesecake. Bringing Christmas joy to the desserts table, the Santa’s Belly Cheesecake has a crumbly digestive biscuit base topped with a smooth vanilla cheesecake, finished with a raspberry glaze and adorable Santa’s belt decoration.

The Santa’s Belly Cheesecake is available in stores from 16th December, priced at £4.
