Asda is launching its own version of an iconic cosy season hot drink – the Pumpkin Spice Latte – which shoppers can pick up for less than a quarter of the cost of the coffee shop version, from 13 October.

Known by many as the unofficial marker of the Autumn season, picking up a pumpkin-flavoured coffee is the ideal way to keep warm whilst savouring those delicious seasonal flavours – and now, Asda customers can recreate this delicious high-street hit from the comfort of their very own home.

Available in stores and online from 13 October, shoppers can purchase a 126g tub of the flavoured instant coffee powder for just £2.50. Providing seven drinks (18g per serving), shoppers will spend less than if they were to buy just one latte purchased in popular coffee shops.

An Asda spokesperson said: “The Pumpkin Spice latte is an official marker of Autumn and its seasonal flavours eagerly anticipated by many in the run up to the change of season. After seeing an increase in popularity for the Pumpkin spiced latte, we wanted to bring this to our customers at an affordable price. And, whilst customers can make huge saving on costs – Asda’s innovation team assures us there is no compromise on taste*.*”

To make the Pumpkin Spice Latte at home, simply add hot water and stir well, adding a sprinkle of cinnamon for that added autumn experience. The Pumpkin Spice Latte is the perfect movie night accompaniment or can be enjoyed on the commute – without facing the coffee shop queues!

Shop in store or online from 13 October 2022.
