Asda’s meat aisles see new quality steaks land just in time for the Autumn season, whether you’re throwing a dinner party or wanting to enjoy a restaurant-quality meal at home then there’s a steak for you.

The retailer won Meat Retailer of the Year at the Meat Management industry awards this month, showing its commitment to meats of the highest standard for its customers.

For meat lovers, the ASDA Bavette Steak is the ideal choice. At 21-day matured, the Bavette steaks cost £4.50 per 350g twin pack and is often hailed the ‘Butcher’s cut’ because it is said butchers reserved it for their own enjoyment, the Bavette steak is loose textured and rich in flavour.

Or the ASDA Denver Steak is another great option. The 21-day matured steaks are cut from the centre of the Under Blade, they are extremely tender with a good amount of marbling and beef flavour. The packs weigh 340g with a twin pack priced at £4.50 per unit.

ASDA Ranch Steak might be more up your alley, priced at £4.25 per 240g pack. The ranch steak comes from the shoulder area of the cow and yields cuts known for their rich, beefy flavour.

Full of beef flavour and fall-off-the-bone tender, but also available boneless is the ASDA Short Ribs. Grill or slow roast for a succulent beef dish. With an average weight of 600g, the ribs will cost just £7.50 per kg.

Cut from the shoulder, the Extra Special Feather Blade Joint makes for a stunning centrepiece for any autumnal dinner parties. Priced at £13 per kg, this beef joint requires a long, slow cook for best results, so that it is tender enough to fall apart.

And with Halloween around the corner, Asda has also revealed some terrifyingly tasty Halloween inspired meats such as Sweet Breaded Chicken Wings with Caramel sauce. With a crispy House Fry breaded coating, caramel sauce and smoky crispy sprinkle. In stores now, these serve 2 people and weigh in at 710g at a cost of £4.50. These hip wings are inspired by up-and-coming London chicken restaurants, and the rise of Chicken Wing festivals around the country. They are an irresistible combination of crispy savoury chicken with sweet sticky caramel sauce. Best served with skin on fries.
