Shoppers can get into the festive spirit as Christmas sandwiches land at Asda.

Shoppers can choose from a selection of traditional sandwiches on a variety of breads, meaty sub-rolls and luxury wraps - all included in the three-for-two meal deal.

Scoring four out of five stars and crowned as Highly Recommended by BBC Good Food is the Turkey and Stuffing Festive Deli Sandwich (£3.50). The thick white bread is packed with smoked turkey breast, pork, apricot and chestnut stuffing, gravy mayonnaise and finished with a fruity cranberry chutney. In its review, BBC Good Food describe it as ‘Cut horizontally rather than diagonally, this deli sandwich has an almost homemade feel. There is a good ratio of herby stuffing to shredded turkey, with a generous quantity of gravy mayo and cranberry sauce to keep it moist.’

The Festive Feast Sandwich (£3.00) is for the meat-lovers, combining turkey breast and tender sausages with smoked bacon, gravy mayo, stuffing and a spread of cranberry chutney on malted bread.

New for 2023 is the Pigs Under Blankets Sub Roll (£3.50), with sausage and beechwood smoked bacon with gravy mayo and stuffing, on a semolina-topped roll.

Focusing on the filling, the Festive Feast Triple Wrap (£3.35) encases turkey breast and tender sausages with smoked bacon, stuffing, gravy mayo and a spread of cranberry chutney in a tortilla wrap.

For those who love a classic but want it on-the-go, the Prawn Cocktail Sandwich (£3.00) has succulent prawns with a seasoned cocktail sauce on oatmeal bread.

Shoppers don’t have to wait post-Christmas to enjoy a Boxing Day Sandwich (£2.50), Asda’s offering has turkey breast and oak smoked ham with a spoonful of creamy coleslaw and balsamic onion chutney on white bread.

The vegetarian option is Brie and Cranberry (£2.50), a French Brie with a seasonal spoonful of cranberry chutney on malted bread.

As part of the meal deal, shoppers can now bag an **Asda Mince Pie (£1.50) **as a snack – completing the full festive lunch.
