Today, Asda launches its Valentine’s Day flowers instore, which includes the market leading My Sweetheart Roses for just £4.27 a dozen and a Single Red Rose for £1.97 – both cheaper than the equivalent at Aldi which are £4.49 and £1.99 respectively.

For customers looking for something showstopping, the
Exceptional by Asda Premium Roses are under £20 at just £19.97 – even cheaper than Specially Selected bouquets at Aldi which retail at £19.99 – showing that luxury doesn’t have to break the bank.

For the ultimate romantic gesture, customers can also pick up a bottle of
Yellow Label Prosecco, currently on Rollback at just £4.74 (down from £6.50).

Farrah Azad, Asda’s Buying Manager for Flowers, comments:This Valentine’s Day we want to make gifting fresh flowers accessible to all of our customers. From a single rose to our large Exceptional bouquet, we know that gestures like this can be spontaneous so we want our customers to feel reassured that with our Asda prices, these heartfelt gifts won’t break the bank.”

Asda’s market-leading fresh roses make the perfect accompaniment to its
Valentine’s Day Dine In offer, which at the unbeatable value of £11.97 includes 1x starter, 1x main, 2x sides, 1x dessert and 1x drink, which includes a selection of wines. Less than half the price of some other supermarkets’ offerings and already receiving high praise from customers, with comments including: “OMG GET YOURSELVES DOWN TO ASDA GREAT SELECTION ALL FOR £11.97”, “Defo a bargain!” and “This is such a bargain for what you get. Definitely the best Valentines supermarket deal this year”.
