Littler effect on sales of dartboards at ASDA

With the World Dart Championships taking flight this week, Asda have hit the bullseye with more dartboards available online following a surge in people checking out with the now popular household game.

Now the tournament is underway, budding Luke Littlers have been eagerly anticipating its return with sales of dartboards increasing by up to 1900% just over the last few weeks alone. Asda stores across Warrington, the hometown of Luke Littler, have seen the biggest surge in sales of 15% – as youngsters look to follow in the footsteps of their hero.

With Asda managing to secure more stock, the retailer is hoping that the next generation of Luke’s looking to start their journey will look no further as the Hy-Pro 17.5 Inch Dartboard Set is only £15 and available to purchase now (here).

Hollie Catley, buyer at Asda, said: “Over the last few weeks we’ve seen a massive surge in the sales of dartboards in the run up to the World Championship at the famous Ally Pally, so much so that we sold out of stock just last week. We were dart-ermined to get more stock available for budding new stars and we’re pleased to say that they are now back available online at just £15.”
