Allowing for a total stock up ahead of the holidays, over 400 wine lines are now on promo, and for even bigger savings, a selection of bottles are also on Rollback. So that customers can elevate their Easter table spreads with wines of choice but without breaking the bank, from a selection of reds, rosés, whites and sparkling, the deal applies to big-brand-name and own-label favourites.

Enhancing gourmet meals that will be enjoyed across the weekend, Asda’s wine experts have paired the wines in the offer so that customers don’t have to. For a staple white this Easter, Asda’s exclusive and award-winning Azul Marinho Alvarinho (£8.42) is a great accompanying wine for a classic Good Friday seafood cook-up. A Portuguese version of the popular Spanish Albarino, it’s a classic match for those who are set to enjoy a fish dish, with its refreshing and fruity notes of peach, melon and citrus.

For shoppers looking for a wine to enjoy with their deliciously roasted lamb leg, Asda’s wine experts recommend Asda’s own-label, full-bodied, Italian Extra Special Barbera D’Asti (£7.97), complimenting roast meat with its warm and spicy aromas of cherries, plums and violets, and subtle smoky notes of leather. Winning Bronze in the IWSC competition, it’s sure to win customers over this Easter.

With the rosé season finally upon us, customers will be glad to see the 5-star rated and raved about Screaming Devil Côtes de Provence (Was £12.97, Now £9.97) back on offer, after screaming in popularity as a ‘dupe’ for a popular, more expensive wine this time last year. With perfumed white peach, bright mango, and passion fruit aromas, this vibrant and crisp wine pairs well with roast chicken and indulgent salads – perfect to enjoy throughout the bank holiday weekend.

A great bubbly to pop whilst celebrating is Asda’s Extra Special Crémant d'Alsace Brut (£9.36), a beautifully pale gold sparkling wine with fruity notes of pears, apples and light roasted hazelnuts. The tipple to pair from aperitif to the end of meal, customers can not go wrong with this award-winning fizz.
