Asda unveils a new Pistachio Liqueur for Christmas, inspired by viral ‘Dubai Chocolate’ trend and priced at just £8.16

As the pistachio flavour has surged in popularity, driven by viral social media trends like ‘Dubai Chocolate’, it’s been proudly named ‘Flavour of the Year’*, and with no surprise has found its way into festive food and drink ranges for Christmas 2025.

Asda has announced the launch of its NEW Pistachio & Milk Chocolate Cream Liqueur, that’s dropping this week, and just in time for the festive build up.

With a unique flavour profile of decadent pistachio and milk chocolate, the Exceptional By Asda Pistachio & Milk Chocolate Cream Liqueur (£8.16) is blended with rich cream and a touch of sea salt – smoothly bringing luxury flavours together for the perfect sip, that’s best served over ice. The liqueur is a standout choice for customers seeking both familiarity and excitement this Christmas and beyond.

With premium quality but without a premium price tag attached, the new liqueur is priced at just over £8 for 70cl, making it over £9 and 54% cheaper* than similar 50cl products from luxurious brands.

The new pistachio liqueur lands alongside returning favourites, which have had an ‘Exceptional’ glow up. The range includes the Exceptional By Asda Blonde Chocolate Cream Liqueur (£8.16) – with delicate caramel and Madagascan vanilla notes, and the Exceptional By Asda Espresso Martini Cream Liqueur (£8.16) – with rich Arabica coffee and chocolate hits.

For Asda customers who wish to go full pistachio this Christmas when choosing their after-dinner delight, the liqueur can be enjoyed alongside Asda’s NEW Exceptional by Asda 6 Pistachio & Belgian Chocolate Profiteroles (£4.98). The six choux pastry profiteroles are filled with sweet and nutty pistachio flavour cream, then topped with rich Belgian chocolate fondant and finished with a drizzle of Belgian dark chocolate sauce and pistachio pieces.
