Asda launches high protein ‘power pot’ ready meal range for 2026

Asda has launched its new Protein ‘power pot’ ready meals – an affordable, protein and calorie-conscious meal solution for customers who want to focus on health without doing all the prep in 2026, or for those with reduced appetites.

With Asda’s own-label healthy ready meal sales also up 54% year-on-year, customers are not only looking to kick-start their wellbeing journey come January, but are more frequently turning to healthier, portion-controlled ready meal options.

Providing a quick and easy choice for customers, the carefully curated meals have been formulated to be high in protein and one-of-your-five-a-day, with at least 80g of fruit or vegetables per 250g meal.

With 4 exciting flavours to choose from at just £2.50 per 250g pot, customers can tuck into the delicious **Protein Creamy Chicken Korma 250g (£2.50) with cooked rice, ground cashews and green lentils, which is also a source of fibre, Protein Thai Green Chicken Curry 250g (£2.50) with Jasmine rice, Edamame beans and Pak Choi, Protein Chicken Chow Mein 250g (£2.50) with free-range egg noodles, fresh veg and ginger, and Protein Chicken & Mediterranean Style Vegetable Pasta 250g (£2.50) **with pepper and courgette Fusilli pasta.

This launch comes as part of Asda’s mission to make healthier choices accessible to all customers, and aligns to its ‘Live Better’ mantra.

Asda’s Protein ready meal range is available in stores and online now.
