Asda introduces ‘Balancing Act’ – a new generation of No/Low wines for modern drinkers
Asda is expanding its no and low alcohol offering with the launch of Balancing Act, a new own-brand, exclusive wine range designed for customers seeking greater balance in their lifestyles without compromising on taste or quality.
With party season fast approaching, the range offers more choice when it comes to celebrating and entertaining, perfect for those looking to moderate alcohol or try something new.
The new collection launches with three wines across two price tiers, offering shoppers a choice of budget-friendly (£6.00) and more premium (£10.00) options.
Developed in partnership with one of Asda's premium French wine suppliers in the renowned Loire Valley, the wines have been carefully crafted to retain the authentic flavour profile and character of the grapes, while significantly reducing alcohol content.
The range includes the Balancing Act Sauvignon Blanc 0.0% ABV (£6.00) - a more budget-friendly option for modern drinkers, with notes of aromatic white fruits, citrus, white flowers and a vibrant acidity that makes it a perfectly balanced wine.
The more premium version, the Balancing Act Sauvignon Blanc 0.5% ABV (£10.00) is an elevated, elegant and fresh white wine, with white fruit, pear, and cherry blossom notes on the palate, and subtle vanilla notes on the finish from oak aging.
The red star of the show in the range, the Balancing Act Pinot Noir 0.5% ABV (£10.00), has aromas of red cherries and strawberries, elevated by hints of spice and subtle oak, bringing structure and complexity to a low alcohol red wine.
The name Balancing Act, exclusively at Asda, reflects both the winemaking expertise required to preserve a wine’s character without alcohol, and the modern lifestyles of consumers who are increasingly looking to balance social occasions with mindful drinking choices, especially in the run up to the festive period.
