GOURD NEWS! Asda slashes pumpkin prices ahead of Halloween

October 23, 2026 06:30am

Asda is carving a chunk off the cost of Halloween by cutting prices across its range of fresh pumpkins, helping families enjoy some frightfully good fun for less.

From Friday 23rd October until Halloween on Saturday 31st October, shoppers can pick up a large pumpkin for just £1, down from £1.72, while extra-large pumpkins will cost £2, reduced from £2.43.

The supermarket is also squashing the price of its popular munchkin pumpkins, which have become a social-media favourite thanks to their miniature size and eye-catching autumnal appearance. These will be available for just 37p, down from 50p.

Asda’s fresh pumpkin offer includes:

  • Large pumpkins: £1, on rollback from £1.72

  • Extra-large pumpkins: £2, on rollback from £2.43

  • Munchkin pumpkins: 37p, on rollback from 50p

And the savings don’t stop there. Little monsters dressed in their scariest costumes can also eat for free in Asda Cafés, giving families another way to enjoy a spook-tacular Halloween treat without spending a scary amount.

Robert Creswick, Produce Trading Manager at Asda said: “We know families love getting together to carve pumpkins ahead of Halloween, so we’re delighted to slash prices across our fresh pumpkin range, and ensure our customers can get into the Halloween spirit for less.”

Asda’s reduced pumpkin prices will be available in stores from 23rd October until 31st October 2026, while stocks last.
