Asda is bringing another iconic teatime favourite to life in giant cake form, with the launch of its brand-new and bigger than ever, The Bakery at Asda Jaffa Cake (£14.000). An impressive 820g showstopper, it's inspired by the nation's love of the classic chocolate-orange treat, often sparking the debate of whether it's a biscuit or in fact a cake.

Landing in stores from today, the oversized creation follows the runaway success of Asda's Giant Custard Cream Cake, which racked up thousands of reactions, comments and shares across social media as shoppers rushed to get their hands on the larger-than-life bake.

The latest addition is packed with all the flavours fans know and love. Featuring soft sponge layered with tangy orange curd, covered in orange-flavour frosting and finished with a smooth chocolate icing layer, the cake captures the unmistakable chocolate orange taste combination that has made Jaffa Cakes a household favourite for generations.

Customers can cast their vote via Asda's social media channels (@asda) on 15th September, choosing from four nostalgic biscuit flavours via a poll:

• Jam & Cream

• Bourbon

The winning flavour could become the next oversized cake creation to hit Asda shelves in 2027, added as part of a rotational line-up of giant bakes inspired by Britain's best-loved treats.
