Product Recall: Stretcherz: ‘Stretch’ & ‘Slammers’

What’s happened?

Stretcherz is recalling certain toys following the identification of a potential contaminant in the sand used within a limited number of products.

Testing has shown that the sand-like material inside some products may contain trace levels of asbestos. Because asbestos should not be present in any amount, we are recalling the affected items as a precaution.

While we have received no reports of harm, we are taking this action out of an abundance of caution and in line with our commitment to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Customers are advised to stop using the affected products immediately.

What should you do?

If you have purchased the Stretcherz products listed above (see product name and code), please return the item to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.

If you are unable to return the item to your nearest Asda store, contact your local authority / access their website for guidance on safe disposal of asbestos in your area.
